I'm Having a Blast in Taiwan!

I am having a great time staying busy with school and exploring Taiwan.  The people here are so kind and patient and I have made some really great friends!  The weekend before last I survived the fourth largest typhoon that has ever hit Taiwan--Typhoon Jangmi! Us girls stayed inside all weekend reading, playing cards and reading.  I visited the National Palace Museum! I was able to see and learn about some incredible Chinese art that was thousands of years old!

Category 3 Typhoon!

I'm here in Taiwan!!! Everything smells and looks different. The streets are always bustling with people, cars, buses and mopeds!  Yesterday we visited Taipei 101-The tallest building in the world! We didn't go to the top of it due to weather conditions. Speaking of weather conditions...there is a Category 3 Typhoon hitting the east side of the Island. We have been advised to stay inside this weekend.
